OUR STORY
In 2019 two ambitious sisters set out on a mission to bring modern online auctioning to the Brantford, Ontario area. Our vision was simple…provide a platform where consumers could conveniently shop and save big money on current and contemporary items sold by major online retailers. We further recognized that there was an opportunity to reduce waste by repurposing products that would otherwise be going to landfill sites, despite 90% of the products being in perfect condition. We wanted to do all of this while making the online shopping experience fun! It was a win-win in our books, and with that…Rightside Auctions was born!
With a lot of drive, patience and determination what initially started out as a small-scale start-up from a garage in Brantford, has now grown into a trusted online auctioning brand that spans not only provincially, but nationally.
The Rightside Auctions brand is now bringing exceptional online retail deals to consumers from three different locations…Brantford, Edmonton, and Peterborough!! We have expanded to include international shipping and have integrated supermarket inventory (every day-use items) in most of our locations. We have come a very long way.
AND our story continues….
We are excited to announce that Edmonton has opened its second location (Edmonton-South) and we will be welcoming another expansion with our next auction opening in Guelph, Ontario in the next few weeks. Our Guelph auction is well underway in their preparation stages, and we will be announcing grand opening date soon!
While we are growing at a fast pace, we promise to continue providing a small-feel, reliable and fun auctioning experience under the Rightside Auctions brand, across all locations. We will work on continually expanding further within Ontario, Western Canada and beyond in order to provide all Canadians with the opportunity to enjoy and discover a truly unique way of purchasing retail goods.
We have loved every moment of operating Rightside Auctions and are beyond excited about what the future holds…and that’s our story!
